The department of Integration, Provision, and Work is divided into labor market, housing issues, young adults, and economic assistance.

We are now looking for a temporary case supervisor for Economic Assistance West.

In Economic Assistance West, social workers work to investigate and assess the right to assistance according to the Social Services Act, and actively work with individuals to create changes in their life situations that lead to self-sufficiency.

Job Responsibilities

The role of the case supervisor in the unit involves guiding and advising social workers in their daily work, both individually and in groups. The case supervisor is also responsible for tasks aimed at facilitating the department's and unit's processes and working methods, contributing to continuous development work, and promoting internal and external collaboration. This may involve creating and updating appropriate routines, assisting the unit manager in planning, operational development, and monitoring the operations. You will be part of a case supervisor team, working together across the Economic Assistance West and East units. In your work, you will also collaborate with other case supervisors in the department and administration. We operate from a solution-focused approach that permeates all our work.

Qualifications

You have a degree in social work and extensive experience in public authority operations within social services. You have excellent knowledge of current legislation and case handling. As an applicant, you should be open to working in an environment where you may need to constantly reprioritize tasks based on changing conditions. As a person, you are secure and stable in your professional role. You work in a structured, meticulous manner with a strong sense of responsibility while being supportive, clear, and attentive in your interactions with colleagues. You are humble and contribute to learning and development within the group, creating a work environment characterized by openness and collaboration.

In addition to competence and experience, particular consideration will be given to complementing the group based on personal qualities. We would like you to have training and experience in BIP and a solution-focused approach.

A valid driver's license (B) is required.

The temporary position will start as soon as possible/according to agreement and will last until December 31, 2026, with the possibility of extension.
